We do not become writers, dancers, musicians, helpers, peacemakers.
We came as such. We are.
Clarissa Pinkola Estes
"Time lived close to nature became an initiation. What matured there — now shapes everything I create.
I'm currently dedicated to the making of an art installation, MUTTERZELT / Mother Tent, that honors the female collective of past, present, and future.
Old fabrics, natural materials, a ritualistic approach, and a community mindset form this work —creating a space of listening to, exploring, integrating, or rewriting ‘herstory’ — seeking the transformation of inherited inequality within patriarchal structures into a just and life-affirming reality.
I see life, spirituality, and forms of artistic expression not as separate segments, but as one web in which each thread is contributing to wholeness - within my inner landscapes and within co-created outer realities.
Having accompanied my grandmother during the last months of her life, and having spent time on ancestral land, MUTTERZELT honors those personal life experiences - and it sets the tone for future projects, such as my own music, that are currently seeding." luisa lua
